We hired Julia to create a custom wedding band for my wedding. We provided her with a few inspiration graphics, some architectural motifs and natural elements, and then left her to it. I worked with Julia in the spring of 2010 to design an engagement ring for my (now) fiancée. I came to Julia armed with an idea of my budget... and that's about it! I had done some research into engagement rings, but for the most part needed some serious guidance. Julia educated me in all things diamond, and exposed me to several different styles of rings. Through an iterative process that involved reviewing prototypes, her previous designs, and CAD models we selected a design and main stone for the ring (which was perfect!). She built the ring herself, and kept me updated of her progress throughout the build. The ring was ready on time, and on budget, and my fiancee is as proud of this ring as I've seen her of anything.
